Charles Warren graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in fashion design from Parsons School of Design. He studied in Paris where he developed an appreciation for the construction and artistry of clothing design. In New York he held prestigious internships at Lanvin, Thom Browne, Pat McGrath and W Magazine where he not only focused on fashion but developed a keen sense of the industry.
In 2010 Charles launched his own design studio catering to private clients. His ideas were translated into silhouettes uniquely suited to each client. Designing around clients’ need for self expression and personal style he utilized his concepts of drapery, fastidious construction and the importance of fit and movement to embody timeless elegance with a fresh perspective.
As Charles’ private client business grew and his ideas were articulated through these women, he realized his concepts would resonate with a broader audience. His first ready-to-wear collection debuted in February 2014 at the New Museum during New York Fashion Week.
Charles Warren ready-to-wear collections are designed and made in New York City.
